A carpool to school is very cheap. Passenger pay fuel and parking costs to the driver on every trip. Fuel contributions are between 10p and 15p per mile, depending on the total journey distance. Parking cost contribution is calculated per business as rates vary.
You only pay a fuel and parking contribution for the trips you book each week. There are no subscriptions or hidden in-app fees to worry about. Once the payment is processed, you’ll receive a booking confirmation with your driver details, pickup time and route information.
As a driver, you’ll receive a seat booking confirmation per passenger, which includes the passenger details, pickup time and route information. Passengers and drivers must confirm their identity via their bank using the face ID feature on the banking app.
All drivers also need to get verified via their license, MOT and tax before offering a carpool.
